RC Aircrafts For Beginner

Would you like to get started in aircraft modeling? In my opinion, to get the best fun out of the aircraft modeling is to start with radio/remote control electric powered flight.

In general, the old days of aircraft model building are gone, though I still like to draw and build my own aircrafts (i.e. I enjoy building my own World War I fighter aircrafts like the famous Red Baron Fokker Dr.1).

Nowadays you can buy an almost ready to fly (ARTF) or ready built (RTF) aircraft cheaply from any of the online and offline major RC hobby stores.

It will be much cheaper than having to buy building materials such as balsa, ply, covering skin etc. In addition, you probably can have your ARTF or RTF aircraft flying in a few hours of purchase.

Flying RC Powered Trainer

To learn to fly for the first time, it is always being a go idea if you could start out with a good ‘trainer’ aircraft. An easy-to-fly trainer with a high wing is the best for most beginners. A good example of this type of trainer is “Arising Star”. At a price of around US$100 (ARTF model) is really a good value for money – you certainly could not built one with this amount of money. Also, if you are looking for a good quality radio gear, in my opinion the best of it kind is JR McGregol gear.

Electric Powered Glider

You could go electric powered RC gliders, power to get up to a good height then the prop folds back against the fuselage. It then acts as a normal glider. This is my opinion is the best way to learn to fly. In general, with a couple of charged up battery packs and you would have a good day flying.

Keep checking back this website as I will keep adding in new information from time to time.
